About the Role
The Field Service Engineer provides advanced service and consultation for customer water treatment applications, performing troubleshooting and optimization to maintain high-quality standards and secure recurring business, customer satisfaction, and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth advice on customer applications for optimal performance results.
- Perform consultative support for new installations and equipment calibrations, including remote monitoring and feeding technology.
- Service mechanical installations and ensure the performance and reliability of pumps, piping, chemical feed systems, storage tanks, and other connected systems.
- Maintain and develop customer and key stakeholder relationships alongside the sales account manager.
- Deliver customer technical training as required.
- Identify new business opportunities and transfer sales leads to sales teams.
- Provide comprehensive customer service reports according to RMC policies using RMC tools.
- Properly maintain all Company-owned equipment, including tools, instruments, safety equipment, and vehicles.
- Complete all administrative requirements, including basic skills/safety training courses.
- Manage inventory and supplies required at customer sites.
- Deliver upon service KPIs, including safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Secure conditions for safe operations according to existing RMC & Customer policies and procedures.
- Perform similar/related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance water treatment or Waste Water industry related experience required.
- Expert level knowledge of water treatment fundamentals, practices, and terminology.
- Valid driver’s license.
