The Sourcing Coordinator provides complex administrative support to the Sourcing department.

Daily communication with overseas offices and agents, including calls on China/India timings.
Collaborate with sales on product requirements, target costs, and forecasts.
Liaise with overseas factories to secure competitive costs based on customer requirements.
Engineer costs into target prices, ensuring accuracy of packaging, testing, and quality requirements.
Evaluate costing for repeat SKUs to identify benefits from market conditions, raw material, and currency fluctuations.
Coordinate with the sales and planning teams on replenishment and running change deadlines for production.
Track and manage roll-out orders.

Analyze factory plans to confirm capacity availability for all orders and reorders.
Participate in weekly development and production meetings for all customers.

Excellent costing and negotiating skills.
Proficiency in working with large Excel datasets.
Modest overseas travel required.
Understanding of trade regulations, product integrity, testing protocols, production cycle timelines, and logistics.

8 years of sourcing experience working with overseas vendors at a large volume wholesale or retail business.
2-3 years of experience in Home Textiles or Apparel preferred.

Experienced in Home Textiles - Kitchen Towels, Placemats, Runners, Chairpads, Pillows, Bath, Mats, Rugs, Pet Beds.
Experienced working with Walmart/Sams, Costco, TJX Brands, strong understanding of costing, timelines and requirements.
