About the Role
As a member of the finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will be a key part of the company’s FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, acquisition reporting, and ad hoc financial and systems analysis. The role will also participate in projects supporting new company initiatives, process improvement, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting analyses, including variance and profitability analysis and management reporting packages.
- Deliver meaningful financial reports with written analysis articulating key drivers and trends.
- Understand company margin and perform detailed analysis for monthly sales, margins, and volumes trends by insurer, drug type, and vendor.
- Develop financial models, participate on cross-functional project teams, and perform analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, perform reviews, and track project performance.
- Interpret and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Participate in process improvement projects and system implementations/enhancements.
- Support company acquisition and integration activities, including operational and financial activities.
- Function as an effective team member, assisting co-workers, learning from colleagues and supervisors, and supporting organizational goals.
- Demonstrate initiative in the interest of the company and its customers.

Requirements
- 5+ years of related accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Experience with financial due diligence preferred but not required.
- High proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite required.
- Experience with Adaptive Insights software highly preferred.
- Experience with advanced data analytics and tools (Domo, Adaptive, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Healthcare experience encouraged but not required.
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- A hands-on, detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills.
- High level of comfort presenting information and solid communication skills.
- A team player with the self-confidence, presence, and consultative skills to positively influence the business.
- A tenacious, operationally minded individual with a strong work ethic and skills in process improvement.
- An orientation toward change management and process improvement initiatives.
