About the Role

As the Production Manager, you'll lead the teams behind the scenes, overseeing the planning, installation, execution, and safe operation of live entertainment and special events across Turning Stone Enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Support entertainment productions across the enterprise, always seeking to elevate the guest and performer experience.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Entertainment and Events professionals, providing ongoing instruction and supervision of entertainment technicians, riggers and production teams through coaching, training and development opportunities, including oversite of safety and compliance protocols.
- Manage third-party vendors and partners to execute more than 2,500 performances per year.
- Establish and maintain equipment and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manage costs and budgets assigned for respective areas.
- Monitor efficiencies of show and event operations.
- Forecast and develop capital plans in conjunction with Entertainment Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of show operations including rigging, sound, lighting, video, scenic installations, and crew set up and take-down requirements.
- Six or more years of relevant experience in theatrical entertainment, production, or stage management positions, preferably in the hospitality, casino or cruise line industry, and including various venue sizes.
- The ability to orchestrate multi-disciplined events, show design and concerts.
- Progressively increasing supervisory and leadership experience, greater than 5 years preferred.
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to accurately utilize data to inform big picture developments while identifying critical path timelines and the resources needed to be able to deliver on multiple experiences, simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain budgets for large and small events.
- Excellent communication skills, project management efficacy– highly organized, results oriented, and able to take initiative and lead projects.
- Ability to work independently and as a team; ability to manage multiple projects and staff, including freelancers and vendors.
- General computer application proficiency.
