About the Role
Blacksmith is extending its CI infrastructure into a broader platform, running agent sandboxes at scale and building its own background coding agent. This role will own full-cycle hiring for all Go-To-Market and Operations roles, building outbound sourcing from scratch, and partnering with founders to define and maintain a high talent bar.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle hiring for every GTM and Ops role at Blacksmith
- Build outbound sourcing from scratch
- Partner directly with the founders to define what "exceptional" looks like for each role
- Own the hiring process with urgency, balancing exceptional quality with speed
- Be the expert advisor in the business regarding market trends, talent opportunities/challenges, and tradeoffs
- Build out our network and brand, engaging with passive talent and converting candidates through strategic sequences
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting across GTM & Ops roles within fast-paced startup environments
- Proven track record of hiring at an exceptional talent bar
- Comfortable and able to operate with urgency in a truly hypergrowth environment
- Experience working with teams that have built highly technical products, understanding the nuances of selling a role in this environment
- Good process instinct - ability to maintain rigor without overburdening hiring
- High agency and thrive in ambiguity
- Real sourcing craft - ability to reach top-tier talent
