About the Role
Helio Health is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Counselor Aide for the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic. This primarily administrative role supports clinic operations by assisting with caseload management, documentation, communication, and administrative tasks, with minimal client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Support counselors with caseload management, outreach and engagement efforts, data input and tracking, and administrative follow-up tasks.
- Prepare and send communications to counselors, clients, and families via mail and email.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and electronic documentation systems.
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and other administrative functions as needed.
- Monitor and report outstanding tasks to support compliance and workflow efficiency.
- Perform additional clerical and administrative duties that support the counselors and overall clinic operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and HIPAA requirements.
- Participates in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
- Represents the agency to the community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Customer service and/or human services experience preferred.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License, based on service settings.
