About the Role

The Room Service Server is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The individual will provide an enjoyable, expertly served beverage and/or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. They anticipate and service guests’ needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials. Always just a telephone call away, around the clock, they will also perform duties to deliver an exceptional in-room dining experience and provides a wide selection of food and beverage options delivered to the comfort of guests’ rooms.

Responsibilities

Provide an enjoyable, expertly served beverage and/or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
Anticipate and service guests’ needs before being asked.
Be knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials.
Perform duties to deliver an exceptional in-room dining experience.
Provide a wide selection of food and beverage options delivered to the comfort of guests’ rooms.

Requirements

Possess an affinity for guest service.
High level of wine and food knowledge.
Smart Serve certification.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform this position to Four Seasons Standards.
Ability to learn the Sequence of Service.
Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays.
Outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
Possess open availability to work at least 3 shifts per week.
Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays.
Possess legal work authorization in Canada.
Work permit sponsorship is not available.
