About the Role
This role is for a seasoned professional in Technology Research, contributing to process improvements and integrating subject matter expertise. The individual will evaluate complex issues, requiring strong analytical and communication skills, and may take on leadership and coaching responsibilities. The role has a significant impact on project outcomes and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality investment insights globally with an emphasis on independence and objectivity.
- Produce regular written research, host investor meetings, hold conference calls, and communicate with clients.
- Maintain and update existing company models, create new models, and maintain relative value sheets.
- Assist with the publication of earnings previews/recaps, initiation reports, deep dive notes, and other group products.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests, both internal and external.
- Assist with the coordination of investor meetings and conference calls with consultants.
- Assess risk appropriately, considering the firm's reputation, and ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
- Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
Requirements
- Previous relevant work experience.
- CFA/ACA/MBA preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting and modelling.
- Excellent inter-personal and writing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Secure and maintain applicable licenses.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be aware that this is a Certified Role, subject to the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
- Will be assessed against Fit and Proper requirements (honesty, integrity, reputation, financial soundness, competence, and capability) through interviews, self-disclosures, criminal record checks, reference checks, credit checks, and background screening.
