About the Role

Midstate Spring is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Team Member to support the daily flow of materials throughout our manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing customer shipments, and ensuring materials are delivered where they are needed to keep production running efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and distribute incoming wire, raw materials, supplies, and production components.
  • Receive products returning from outside processing vendors and ensure accurate routing throughout the facility.
  • Issue and return materials, tools, and supplies to production work orders while maintaining accurate inventory transactions.
  • Prepare, package, label, and ship customer orders and materials sent to outside service providers according to specifications and shipping requirements.
  • Verify shipping documentation, packing lists, and work order requirements to ensure shipment accuracy.
  • Package and color-code finished products in accordance with customer and work order specifications.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting, physical inventories, and daily inventory transactions.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse locations for raw materials, finished goods, packaging supplies, and production materials.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse by following 5S principles and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and warehouse best practices.
  • Support other departments as business needs require and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment or obtain certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and email communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing production demands.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, reach, twist, and climb as required.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
