About the Role

Lab Alley seeks a Chemical Technician (Production Associate) to ensure safe and accurate product preparation for customers, contributing to the company's vision of becoming the Amazon of chemicals. This role involves handling chemicals in a controlled environment, with a strong emphasis on safety and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators. Individuals with beards unwilling to shave cannot be considered due to respirator fit requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Pack, measure, weigh, and label items for shipment or storage.
  • Follow all company guidelines and packaging instructions to ensure safety and product integrity.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Identify and dispose of defective items before they are shipped to customers.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks in the workstation and warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Clean, prep, and inventory supplies for packaging.
  • Willingness and ability to comply with all regulatory safety and environmental requirements.
  • Ability to wear PPE, including respirators, without restriction.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be clean-shaven for proper respirator fit.
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Prior chemical handling experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
