About the Role

We are seeking an experienced non-CDL box truck driver to join our team. This role involves route and delivery driving in the four boroughs of New York City, customer service, and handling heavy lifting. All vehicles are automatic.

Responsibilities

• Four-day workweek
• Days start between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
• Trucks loaded and ready to go
• Safely drive automatic transmission box trucks to transport and deliver food products
• Unload cargo
• Follow specific routes and time schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Must drive in four of the five boroughs
• Use company software to ensure proper logs of work
• Predictable schedules
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Valid and clean driver's license (NON-CDL)
• Must have an active DOT Medical Card
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and other unloading equipment
• Proficient in route driving and navigation
• Strong physical stamina for lifting
• Must drive box trucks in NYC
• Proven experience in safe commercial driving
• Familiarity with operating box trucks and making deliveries
• Ability to lift objects and perform physical tasks
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws
