About the Role

The Mishkon Division provides supports and services in a healthy and safe environment for individuals with intellectual/ developmental disabilities. Our core values promote person-centered planning, community integration, and collaboration with families, all within an Orthodox Jewish lens. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to measurements and instructions.
• Ensure proper stock levels of food are maintained.
• Prepare meals adhering to OPWDD's modified texture requirements and specialized diet orders.
• Prepare quantity meals tastefully with minimal waste from provided menus.
• Submit orders to the manager in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Glatt Kosher Dietary Laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must have the ability to use hands skillfully and coordinatedly to grasp and manipulate objects and demonstrate small, precise movements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift.
• Ability to work in a kitchen environment.
• Obtain a Food Handlers Certificate within 6 months of hire date.
