About the Role

The Mishkon Division provides supports and services in a healthy and safe environment for individuals with intellectual/ developmental disabilities. This role involves preparing and cooking meals while ensuring proper stock levels and adhering to specific dietary laws and textures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to measurements and instructions.
• Ensure proper stock levels of food are maintained.
• Prepare meals in adherence to OPWDD's modified texture requirements and specialized diet orders.
• Prepare quantity meals tastefully, with minimal waste and spoilage from provided menus.
• Submit orders to manager in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Glatt Kosher Dietary Laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge and experience with Kosher dietary laws required.
• Must have ability to use hands in a skillful, coordinated way to grasp and manipulate objects and demonstrate small, precise movements.
