About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support and maintain our cloud-first environments. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work across Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and Microsoft cloud services, while collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and Azure Virtual Networks (VNets).
- Administer Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN connectivity, private endpoints, and load balancing services.
- Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.
- Monitor system performance, availability, security, and cost using Azure-native tools.
- Participate in infrastructure projects such as cloud deployments, upgrades, and platform improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and identity-related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable cloud solutions.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
- Practical experience with Azure Virtual Networks and cloud networking concepts.
- Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and cloud-based identity.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently on assigned tasks.
- Experience with Azure monitoring, security, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Hands-on experience using PowerShell and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks, improve consistency, and support infrastructure operations.
