About the Role

Drive the growth of Iterative Health's national clinical research network by developing new partnerships with independent GI physicians and physician practices. This role focuses on identifying prospective partners, building trusted relationships, and converting opportunities into new network members.

Responsibilities

  • Own physician and practice sales within an assigned territory, identifying and developing new partnership opportunities.
  • Prospect and engage independent physicians, physician groups, and practice leaders through various outreach methods.
  • Build trusted relationships with physicians and key practice stakeholders, understanding their priorities and communicating partnership value.
  • Manage the sales process from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation and partnership execution.
  • Build and actively manage a qualified territory pipeline, maintaining consistent prospecting activity.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the territory, including physician practices, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct market mapping and account research to identify and prioritize high-potential physicians and practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline development, conversion, and other key performance metrics.
  • Represent Iterative Health professionally in interactions with physicians, practice leaders, and other prospective partners.
  • Share market insights, physician feedback, and competitive intelligence.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in territory sales, business development, or a similar physician-facing commercial role.
  • Demonstrated success selling into physician practices.
  • Experience developing new physician relationships and converting prospective practices or providers.
  • Demonstrated success with outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and new account acquisition.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the confidence and credibility to engage physicians, practice owners, administrators, and healthcare executives.
  • Results-oriented and motivated by measurable sales goals, pipeline growth, and conversion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and disciplined in managing a territory, pipeline, follow-up activities, and multiple opportunities.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • Ability to travel within an assigned territory as needed.
