About the Role
The Associate Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring the highest level of customer service and support. This business development role provides client support and is responsible for business development activities that support the Private Client Group, partnering with teammates and key product partners to ensure the highest level of service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Responds to client inquiries and requests regarding accounts.
- Analyzes client issues and researches to respond accordingly; may coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Acts as liaison to Private Client Services (PCS) group for transaction requests.
- Assists with the development of client relationships and supports business development efforts for new PCG business.
- Identifies client needs and effectively onboards new clients.
- Acts as a bridge between the organization and clients.
- Provides support for group sales efforts with activities such as pre-call planning, overseeing marketing materials for prospect outreach, client proposals, and pitch books.
- Manages prospect lists.
- Oversees daily customer & risk reports including new account reports, significant activity, significant change, large deposit, detailed transaction report, Oasis and month-end reports.
- Markets/cross-sells other products and services as appropriate to customer needs.
- Understands compliance requirements around KYC/AML laws and monitors and reports findings appropriately.
- Ensures data integrity for all customer account information.
- Uses independent judgment and discretion to make decisions.
- Analyzes and resolves problems.
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards and completes required compliance trainings.
- Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent education level.
- Minimum 2+ years of related experience in banking in a commercial environment.
- Experience with financial products, services and compliance.
- Experience with KYC-AML.
- Minimum 1+ years in a similar role (preferred).
