About the Role

This role supports credit underwriting and monitoring for moderately complex client relationships, evaluating risks and preparing financial analysis using advanced tools and systems. The Global Infrastructure Credit team supports sustainable, renewable, and green finance, the transition to a low-carbon economy, and the Digital Infrastructure market.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client financial information, identify/mitigate potential risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and evaluate collateral to determine credit worthiness.
  • Complete monitoring activities through analysis of clients’ financial performance and collateral evaluation to ensure appropriate requirements are met.
  • Listen in to client meetings to develop a deeper understanding of the client's business, management team, and past and future performance.
  • Review completed client requests to ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
  • Understand how credit data is used internally and provided to regulatory partners.
  • Assist with periodic portfolio reviews.
  • Participate in loan structure conversations and completion of loan documentation.
  • Perform intensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence on transaction structures, stress scenarios, financial models, engineer reports, and terms and conditions.
  • Participate in the underwriting and documentation of project finance and other credit facilities designed to meet both client and investor needs as well as balance the bank's internal risk/return requirements.
  • Provide input into key projects/initiatives across the bank.
  • Review the credit profile of key transaction counterparties (e.g. borrowers, servicers, sponsors and off-takers).
  • Engage with various partners including GCIB Enterprise Credit Officers for recourse obligors, Enterprise Credit Risk, and Global Markets Risk.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in corporate/commercial credit.
  • Strong technical skills, including quantitative financial modeling.

Salary/Compensations

  • $90,000.00 - $200,000.00 annualized salary
