About the Role
Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves ensuring timely and damage-free delivery of freight, operating modern equipment, and being home every night. Drivers are the face of the company and vital to customer relations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers' freight is delivered on time and damage-free.
- Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.
Requirements
- 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
- Acceptable motor vehicle record.
- No DUI's within the last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime).
- Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen and hair follicle test.
