About the Role
The Analyst, Business Intelligence (Product Management) will assist in the implementation and maintenance of analytical models across Horizon Next clients. This role is crucial for driving and informing decision-making through data and analytics, supporting strategy and client teams in planning and optimizing media campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain Next Analytics models for Horizon Next clients.
- Ensure existing model pipelines run smoothly and produce high-quality data.
- Help strategy and client teams interpret model outputs.
- Assist with onboarding new clients by gathering required data inputs for their models.
- Update models for existing clients to add new features or KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to automate model onboarding and deployment.
- Investigate any bugs or model output issues.
- Assist with QA of model input and output.
- Build processes to provide data to client teams for transparency and reporting.
- Work with client teams to maintain QA files.
- Help to update mappings and reference tables.
- Troubleshoot issues with data ingestion and create tickets to address.
- Improve processes of existing models.
- Work with manager to further develop models.
- Build new solutions towards model reporting.
- Gain insight into how models work.
Requirements
- Inclined towards working with data and enjoy building process around it.
- Enjoy tracking down discrepancies and finding the root cause of an issue.
- Find the media/marketing field of interest.
- Possess a “get it done” mentality and view new requests and challenges as opportunities to shine.
- Love learning new things and see unfamiliar technology or code as a chance to learn and grow.
- See raw/messy data as a challenge to be overcome.
- Can explain model requirements to non-technical users and help them interpret model results.
Skills
- Proficiency at using Excel to parse and format data.
- Some experience using SQL (in educational or work setting)
