Responsibilities
- Use of equipment including washers, autoclaves, manual pallet jacks, airlocks, lifts, and manual tools.
- Prepare, sanitize, and stage equipment for filtration and formulation operations.
- Operate sensitive equipment for filter testing and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Clean and organize within a cleanroom environment.
- Follow all safe practices, policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions in controlled environments.
- Complete and maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements.
- Perform moderately complex tasks related to cell culture media manufacturing.
- Perform related duties as required to meet business goals and requirements.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment, manufacturing, engineering, or related field is required.
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced work environment is strongly preferred.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Strong attention to detail for complex instructions and documentation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in multiple processes in a fast-paced work environment.
- Perform basic math, verbal, written, and oral communication.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to squat, bend, and reach different items.
- Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, beard guard (when required), safety glasses, and gloves.
- Availability to work overtime and flexible shift patterns.
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards.
- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed.
- Laboratory Setting.
- Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery).
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.).
- Warehouse.
- Will work with hazardous/toxic materials.
Skills
- General understanding of technical, mechanical, and machinery equipment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are required.

Experience Level
- 1+ years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment, manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced work environment is strongly preferred.

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Formal training in Lean, 5S, or manufacturing processes is preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $20/hr; + shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift positions
- $18.65–$27.97
