About the Role

NVIDIA's Compiler team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to deliver best-in-class compiler technology to developers across Deep Learning, Machine Learning, High Performance Computing, Graphics, and Automotive domains. This role is crucial for delivering new compilers and ensuring the success of various product releases. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, drive software development, and manage processes from concept to delivery, contributing to groundbreaking features in GPU computing, CUDA, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Drive software programs and processes, leading multi-functional teams in a matrix organization to deliver projects on time.
  • Lead projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Present project status authoritatively to multi-functional teams and executive management.
  • Work independently, taking initiative and influencing with minimal mentorship.
  • Collaborate with global partners across multiple time zones, geographies, and technical fields to define work, report status, and deliver projects.
  • Influence other teams by creating an efficient and accountable development environment through process development and improvement.
  • Follow defined processes for escalation when planned work is not on track.
  • Think strategically and tactically, distilling complex projects into manageable tasks and disseminating them to teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical degree.
  • 8+ years in a similar or related role.
  • Passionate about details and skilled at multitasking.
  • Validated Software Engineering background and technical skills.
  • Ability to investigate technical issues with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, standard software development methodologies, and compilers.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Creative problem solver, able to resolve technical issues and conflicting priorities.
  • Track record of understanding and implementing foundational program management skills including risk management, tracking and monitoring, meeting facilitation, domain expertise, time management, and problem-solving.
