About the Role

We are seeking a Snowflake Lead with extensive Data Engineering experience to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake and a strong background in the P&C insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for data engineering projects.
• Manage onshore and offshore teams.
• Develop and support Snowflake environments.
• Design and implement ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Perform production support, root cause analysis, and month-end closing activities.
• Engage in AI/ML data engineering, including feature engineering and ML data pipelines.
• Optimize SQL queries and warehouse performance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and demonstrate customer-facing leadership.

Requirements

• 12+ years of Data Engineering / Analytics experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on Snowflake development and production support.
• 4+ years as a Technical Lead managing onshore/offshore teams.
• 4+ years in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI / AI-enabled analytics.
• Experience with CI/CD for Snowflake deployments.
• Knowledge of Qlik Replicate and real-time/batch data ingestion.
• AI/ML data engineering experience (feature engineering, ML data pipelines, fraud detection, risk scoring).
• Local to San Antonio, TX / New York, NY only.
