About the Role

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, an operating company of Danaher, is seeking a Flow Cytometry Sales Representative to implement a sales plan, achieve sales goals, and call on prospective and current customers. This role involves collaborating with technical personnel to resolve issues, participating in sales target establishment, and managing sales expenses. The strategic sales targets encompass Academic, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Industrial, Hospitals, and CROs.

Responsibilities

Selling flow cytometry hardware to quotas assigned
Selling consumables to quotas assigned
Management of assigned territory accounts
Searching out new and competitive business and working with accounts to develop programs to expand and increase our influence and presence

Requirements

Must live in the greater San Francisco area
Solid understanding of tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers)
Practical experience and/or knowledge of flow cytometry equipment
Highly motivated, success driven, with strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent time and territory management habits
Ability to travel – 70% travel within territory and overnights
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb

$125,000 – $135,000 base salary
$215,000- $225,000 total target compensation (base + SIC)
