About the Role
Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Account Associate to manage day-to-day project management and client relationships. This role involves managing small to medium-sized projects from start to finish, gaining experience in managing others, and delegating tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and makes sensible decisions.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for planning, time management, priorities, and deliverables across accounts.
- Proactively seek guidance from account leads and line managers, highlighting risks to project delivery.
- Confidently manage administrative account tasks with minimal senior input.
- Maintain awareness of projects, flagging key updates and suggesting next steps.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects from start to end, ensuring delivery to cost and deadline.
- Identify opportunities to delegate effectively to junior team members for professional development.
- Demonstrate understanding of client needs, strategy, and brand.
- Lead sections of client calls and meetings, providing recommendations and counsel.
- Develop writing skills, including research, drafting, and ensuring content accuracy.
- Demonstrate proficiency in asset management through VVPM.
- Understand project objectives and communicate them effectively internally and externally.
- Develop coaching, delegation, and briefing skills to upskill and inspire junior team members.
- Buddy new AA/SAA starters.
- Develop a clear understanding of financial processes and support account teams.
- Begin to draft budgets and articulate the rationale.
- Complete timesheets and expense claims accurately and on time.
- Review timesheets across projects.
- Immerse yourself in the medical communications and pharma industries, and client companies.
- Engage with opportunities to understand developments, innovations, and trends.
- Reflect industry insights in your work and share ideas to raise internal profile.
Requirements
- Must have at least one year of experience in a professional environment.
- Highly organized with a mindfulness of deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks based on priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Independent thinker confident in taking ownership of assets and material development.
- Team player who enjoys collaboration.
- Performs tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Confidence to communicate with managers when deadlines will not be met or when issues are foreseeable.
