About the Role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Account Associate to manage day-to-day project management and client relationships. This role involves managing small to medium-sized projects from start to finish, gaining experience in managing others, and delegating tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and makes sensible decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for planning, time management, priorities, and deliverables across accounts.
  • Proactively seek guidance from account leads and line managers, highlighting risks to project delivery.
  • Confidently manage administrative account tasks with minimal senior input.
  • Maintain awareness of projects, flagging key updates and suggesting next steps.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects from start to end, ensuring delivery to cost and deadline.
  • Identify opportunities to delegate effectively to junior team members for professional development.
  • Demonstrate understanding of client needs, strategy, and brand.
  • Lead sections of client calls and meetings, providing recommendations and counsel.
  • Develop writing skills, including research, drafting, and ensuring content accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in asset management through VVPM.
  • Understand project objectives and communicate them effectively internally and externally.
  • Develop coaching, delegation, and briefing skills to upskill and inspire junior team members.
  • Buddy new AA/SAA starters.
  • Develop a clear understanding of financial processes and support account teams.
  • Begin to draft budgets and articulate the rationale.
  • Complete timesheets and expense claims accurately and on time.
  • Review timesheets across projects.
  • Immerse yourself in the medical communications and pharma industries, and client companies.
  • Engage with opportunities to understand developments, innovations, and trends.
  • Reflect industry insights in your work and share ideas to raise internal profile.

Requirements

  • Must have at least one year of experience in a professional environment.
  • Highly organized with a mindfulness of deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks based on priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Independent thinker confident in taking ownership of assets and material development.
  • Team player who enjoys collaboration.
  • Performs tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Confidence to communicate with managers when deadlines will not be met or when issues are foreseeable.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentations skills.
  • Open minded and eager to learn.
  • High energy, able to effectively operate in a fast-paced, growing and evolving environment.
