About the Role
Provide academic intervention services to students needing additional assistance in acquiring reading skills within the Response to Intervention Framework. Support students in developing reading skills aligned with Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS) through phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension strategies. Observe and address individual student needs via direct, push-in, and pull-out supports. Design interventions based on formative and summative assessment data. Collaborate with teachers and staff for targeted interventions. Communicate student progress with teachers and parents, and recommend at-home reading activities.

- Design interventions based on the analysis of ongoing formative and summative student assessment data.
- Collaborate and co-plan with classroom teachers and necessary support staff for targeted and flexible reading interventions.
- Communicate student progress with classroom teachers and parents.
- Recommend at-home reading activities for extended practice.
Requirements
- Must have experience with the Response to Intervention Framework.
- Must be able to support students in acquiring reading skills aligned with Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS).
- Must be able to implement strategies for phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.
- Must be able to observe and address specific child needs through direct, push-in, and pull-out supports.
- Must be able to design interventions based on analysis of ongoing formative and summative student assessment data.
- Must be able to collaborate and co-plan with classroom teachers and support staff.
