About the Role
Venn is seeking talented individuals to join their mission of transforming business banking in Canada. As a rapidly growing B2B fintech, Venn offers a modern digital banking platform and is looking for ambitious individuals to help redefine the future of banking.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of financial services products (transfers, cards, lending, etc.) from the ground up, ensuring systems are production-ready.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to understand and solve customer pain points.
- Integrate with banking partners and third-party APIs to enable features like virtual cards, international money transfers, and to accurately track financial data and make payments.
- Operate independently and work directly with product owners, leveraging experience in shipping products in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Experience in building, scaling, and supporting production-ready products from scratch.
- 5+ years of professional experience with Java.
- 6+ years of experience in backend development.
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, as you'll be joining on the ground floor and building the business.
