About the Role

Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of company products (cases and kegs) using forklifts in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and/or load delivery vehicles, ensuring correct product is received and/or loaded.
  • Check in delivery trucks, ensuring appointment and proper paperwork prior to receiving load.
  • Receive and unload product to be placed into inventory from Over-The-Road or local trucks.
  • Ship distributor orders, dunnage (empties), pallets, etc., ensuring proper paperwork with each load.
  • Operate forklifts to load pallets of product into identified locations with proper stacking and rotation.
  • Move pallets of beer into the system towers and/or HSPA.
  • Check completed pallets of product for accuracy and adjust quantities as required.
  • Unload kegs and properly receive and replenish/rotate in the cooler.
  • Sweep and scrub floors as needed (must be trained and certified to drive scrubber).
  • Manage inventory movements through EasyOps to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot missing or lost product with the Inventory department.
  • Receive all breakage by properly filling out a claim form to verify write-offs or accounting.
  • Understand and follow quality assurance standards for proper product rotation.
  • Conduct daily pre and post-shift inspections of assigned vehicle(s) for safe operation and maintenance.
  • Apply safe work standards to minimize risk of injury or damage to property and inventory.
  • Verify that all repacked product meets brewery quality standards.
  • Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
  • Must be capable of passing Coors Distributing Company’s certification for warehouse equipment (forklift and/or Walkie-rider).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous forklift experience required, minimum 2 years.
  • 2+ years of prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • Candidates must pass warehouse Physical Abilities Test, including lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 165 pounds occasionally.
  • Candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check.
