About the Role
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a dedicated individual to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role involves performing preventive and predictive maintenance, identifying and resolving equipment issues, and collaborating with teams to improve plant reliability.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems, conveyors, crushers, pumps, and related equipment.
- Identify equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to complete work assignments and improve plant reliability.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental standards while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of maintenance practices, tools, welding, fabrication, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Dependable, self-motivated individual capable of prioritizing work and responding effectively to operational needs.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer drug/alcohol screen and background check.
