About the Role
As a Receiver/Stocker, you will maintain a clean, safe, and customer-ready store environment by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise. This fast-paced, physical role requires safe lifting practices, attention to detail, and the ability to provide friendly, professional service to customers and teammates.
Responsibilities
- Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers and answering questions
- Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, and organizing shelves
- Support store operations by verifying deliveries and completing dock prep
- Maintain a safe, clean environment by following procedures for hazardous materials and equipment
- Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, and balers
- Pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders using the Orders App
- Load delivery orders ensuring quality and accuracy
- Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues
- Communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction
- Execute Delivery Readiness best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight shifts
- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions
