About the Role
This role supports employees during critical leave events, ensuring pay accuracy, compliance, and a consistent employee experience. It plays a key role in stabilizing operations while the Salary Continuance program evolves.
Responsibilities
- Support administration of the Salary Continuance (SalCon) process across the leave lifecycle, including transition to Long-Term disability.
- Provide employee guidance and support for leave-related inquiries.
- Complete case setup, documentation, and communication, including issuance of required forms.
- Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, Disability Case Management, and HR partners to ensure accurate case handling.
- Support activities related to stop pay, reinstatement, and end-of-coverage communications.
- Maintain data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established processes.
Requirements
- Experience in absence management, disability support, HR operations, or benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of employee leave processes (e.g., STD, LTD, return-to-work).
- Ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented case work.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in Disability Case Management or Salary Continuance programs.
- Familiarity with Workday, payroll systems, or HR case management tools.
- Experience working in a HR Shared Services environment.
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only.
