About the Role

PM Pediatric Care is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the country, founded by pediatric emergency physicians. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric and young adult urgent care patients via in-person and telemedicine.
  • Manage acute injuries and illnesses, including common pediatric conditions and emergencies.
  • Perform procedural care such as abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair.
  • Interpret radiographs and oversee patient flow and daily office functions.
  • Maintain operations by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely completion of tasks, including lab and radiology review and patient follow-up.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, equitable, and healthy work environment.
  • Protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Update knowledge and skills through internal training, continuing education, and professional engagement.
  • Assist with patient and clinical team complaints and engage in service recovery.
  • Focus on efficiency metrics to improve patient flow, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with EMR systems (eCW preferred).
  • Ability to think critically, multitask, and work effectively in a team.
  • Motivated, energetic, and passionate about pediatric healthcare.
  • Commitment to delivering impeccable customer service and treating patients like family.
