About the Role
The Senior IR Technologist must demonstrate competency and actively participate in a lead/coordinator role. This position supports both Body and Neuro IR, requiring flexibility in scheduling, including call duties.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in an annual performance improvement project.
- Actively participate in IR Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings.
- Demonstrate competency and instruct one or more advanced procedures.
- Rotate shifts and provide coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Take call duties, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements
- 3 years of IR experience.
- 3 years of previous experience in a healthcare environment.
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a similar acute care setting.
- Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Experience with Neuro and Body IR.
