About the Role

The Senior IR Technologist must demonstrate competency and actively participate in a lead/coordinator role. This position supports both Body and Neuro IR, requiring flexibility in scheduling, including call duties.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in an annual performance improvement project.
• Actively participate in IR Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings.
• Demonstrate competency and instruct one or more advanced procedures.
• Rotate shifts and provide coverage for weekends and holidays.
• Take call duties, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

• 3 years of IR experience.
• 3 years of previous experience in a healthcare environment.
• Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in a similar acute care setting.
• Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Experience with Neuro and Body IR.
