About the Role

US Foods is seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team, contributing to our position as a leading foodservice distributor. We foster a culture of internal promotion, provide excellent training, and focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
• Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language for trainings, conversations, safety and job-related coaching, reading labels, and entering information on reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday, with occasional weekend and holiday requirements.
• Recent experience (within the past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred (e.g., lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work).
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Salary/Compensations

• $27.59 starting base rate, increasing to $32.26 after 90 days with 100% productivity.
• Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
