About the Role

The Data Analyst intern or apprentice will support Ornikar's growth by optimizing the Marketplace, which connects driving students and instructors, and by informing product and financial decisions with data. The team collaborates with Product & Marketplace, and Ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and business teams to define needs and translate them into actionable analyses, from discovery to monitoring.
• Explore data to uncover insights that guide the roadmap, such as identifying priority areas for deployment strategy or understanding teacher recruitment drivers.
• Define and challenge KPIs to measure performance, including geographic coverage rate, schedule fill rates, and the volume and quality of recruited instructors.
• Build clear and actionable Looker dashboards for teams to independently track deployment, recruitment, or marketplace activity.
• Evolve data visualization practices and tools to make data more readable and usable.

Requirements

• Seeking a final-year internship or apprenticeship (business school, engineering school, or equivalent).
• Completed at least one data-related internship in a business context.
• Strong business acumen.
• Excellent SQL skills (and ideally Python).
• Experience with a modern data stack (BigQuery, dbt).
• Curious, enthusiastic, and resourceful.
• Comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders (tech, product, business) and providing data-driven recommendations.
• Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
• Team player.
