About the Role
Fish & Richardson, a premier global intellectual property law firm, seeks an IP Operations System Specialist to join its remote-first Hub team within the Practice Systems Department. This role is crucial for maintaining IP systems and supporting practice groups through various operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure IP systems are maintained through regular audits, data cleanup, and validation.
- Assist with daily matter opening and staffing updates for practice groups.
- Develop and run recurring and ad hoc reports and audits as requested.
- Support initiatives to implement automation for increased efficiency within the IP Operations Team and practice groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in patent or trademark prosecution support services preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, IP docketing/management systems, and document management systems.

Salary/Compensations
- In Boston, New York, San Diego, and Silicon Valley, the estimated starting pay is $37.36 - $46.70 per hour (based on a 35-hour workweek), which is equivalent to $68,000 - $85,000 annually.
- In Chicago, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C., the estimated starting pay is $34.87 - $43.59 per hour (based on a 37.5-hour workweek), which is equivalent to $68,000 - $85,000 annually.
