About the Role

As a Privacy Analyst, you will support the ongoing operations of the Privacy Office and provide guidance to the business in the proper management of personal information. This role supports daily department operations by responding to questions, compiling reports, and managing technology platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the Privacy Office is perceived as a valued partner by collaborating with business areas to deliver solutions that drive value and privacy risk mitigation.
  • Supporting the handling of inquiries, requests and complaints through the Privacy Office email or phone channels.
  • Establishing and maintaining tracking of proposed changes to the policies, standards, and procedure documents.
  • Overseeing the data collection for all Privacy Office reporting purposes to ensure data is accurate and complete.
  • Maintaining the Privacy Office Source intranet site to ensure available information is updated and accurate.
  • Providing guidance and advice to the business on privacy-related questions or concerns to ensure items are addressed appropriately.
  • Assisting with the development of communications to increase privacy awareness.

Experience Level

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Privacy or Compliance ideally in the insurance or financial services industry

Education Level

  • Completed a post-secondary degree in relevant discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Have or are willing to obtain a professional privacy designation (e.g CIPP/CIPM)

Salary/Compensations

  • $60,574 - $100,956
