About the Role

Guidepoint’s HR team drives the company’s culture and values. We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist to support our dynamic HR team. This role will own the onboarding process for new employees and provide general HR support. The ideal candidate has a high level of attention to detail and is a collaborative team player able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR experience eager to get involved in all aspects within HR.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including running first-day orientation for in-person and remote hires.
  • Create and maintain employee profiles in ADP Workforce Now and other systems.
  • Conduct background checks and I-9 verification in compliance with E-Verify.
  • Process new hire documentation.
  • Schedule new hire training.
  • Facilitate employee-led corporate athletic league and Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
  • Monitor and respond to employee inquiries submitted through the HR Inbox.
  • Assist in drafting internal documentation, including promotion documents, payroll status change forms, and employment verifications.
  • Maintain the HR Intranet page and new hire/promotions announcements.
  • Run and update monthly headcount reports.
  • Update global organization chart monthly.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in human resources administration.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to contribute ideas to the overall team.

Salary/Compensations

  • $60,000 to $68,000 USD
