As an Asset Based Lending Field Exam Analyst in Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. Responsibilities
- Obtain and analyze client accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable data and historical performance.
- Obtain an overview and understanding of the client’s collateral and financial performance.
- Prepare (new credit facility) or verify (existing credit facility) a borrowing base calculation.
- Verify the existence of inventory through physical inspection.
- Conduct a high-level assessment of internal controls and financial reporting.
- Document tasks performed on an Excel-based field exam template.
- Prepare a written report using the field exam template.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years commercial lending, field exam, accounting or auditing experience.
- Up to 50% overnight travel may be required, depending on client location.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.
- Effective business writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve.
- Ability to think critically while working in a fast-paced environment.
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics strongly preferred, other majors considered based on experience.
- Previous experience managing a team of field examiners is a plus.
- Monarch and Stucky ABL knowledge is helpful.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or Public Accounting.
- CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner).
Experience Level
- Minimum 3 years commercial lending, field exam, accounting or auditing experience.
Education Level
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics strongly preferred, other majors considered based on experience.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or Public Accounting.
- CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner).
