About the Role
The Morgan Group is seeking a motivated individual to join their team, focusing on community engagement and property management. This role involves adhering to operational procedures, managing resident relations, and contributing to the overall success of the community.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to MORGAN’s Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations, Maintenance, and Emergency Procedures manuals and the Team Member Handbook.
- Answer the phone.
- Follow up with all traffic and input information into the appropriate system.
- Greet clients and conduct apartment tours.
- Lease apartments and sell community products and services.
- Manage the leasing process from introduction to resident occupancy.
- Inspect apartments before move-in to ensure MORGAN standards.
- Prepare and complete all leasing paperwork, including the lease.
- Obtain move-in keys, remote, and parking permit prior to resident move-in.
- Respond to resident requests and help resolve resident problems, including creating service requests.
- Complete all recommended Grace Hill classes and attend required company training.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of the community and competition.
- Understand the community's market, including nearby businesses, hiring trends, and new construction.
- Prepare weekly and/or monthly market surveys.
- Participate in resident functions and other MORGAN sponsored activities.
- Report to the Assistant Community Manager in the absence of the Community Manager.
- Work overtime as necessary to meet MORGAN standards of customer service.
- Build relationships with associates in your department and key associates across other departments.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and car registration if driving for business purposes.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to shift attention between duties and adapt to changing business needs with minimal notice.
- Ability to maintain concentration, accuracy, and productivity while experiencing frequent interruptions.
- Ability to make sound business decisions and exercise independent judgment in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, prospects, team members, vendors, and other stakeholders in person, by telephone, and through written communications.
- Ability to effectively use computer systems, property management software, email, and other technology platforms while managing multiple priorities.
