About the Role
This Part-Time Hourly position provides support for the Wayne County program and program director, with a focus on contract compliance, service delivery, and participant intake. The role involves assisting in program operations and performing Advocate duties, requiring dependability and the ability to serve as a positive role model for youth.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the Wayne County program and program director.
- Ensure contract compliance, service delivery, and manage participant intake/referral processes.
- Assist in the operation or administration of the local program/unit.
- Perform Advocate duties.
- Serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master's Degree generally preferred; commensurate experience in community-based agency program is acceptable except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree.
- At least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the provision of home and community-based services.
- Requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
