About the Role
Evergreen is seeking a Head of Innovation & Intelligence to define and implement the company's vision for data, analytics, and AI, driving smarter decisions and growth. This role will connect business strategy with advanced technological capabilities to enhance clarity, efficiency, and outcomes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Define and advance Evergreen’s strategy for data, analytics, and AI, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Translate complex business needs into intelligence-driven initiatives to improve visibility and decision-making.
- Champion the use of enterprise data, analytics platforms, and AI tools to solve business problems.
- Partner with senior leaders across departments to integrate intelligence into daily operations.
- Identify, prioritize, and pilot AI and automation use cases with a focus on data foundations and responsible AI.
- Contribute to the evolution of Evergreen’s data and analytics environment, including cloud platforms and BI tools.
- Stay current with trends in analytics, AI, and enterprise technology to guide experimentation and deliver value.
Requirements
- 10+ years in enterprise data, analytics, intelligence, AI, or innovation leadership roles.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex challenges into clear insights.
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms, analytics tools, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional leaders.
- High EQ, strong judgment, and a collaborative leadership style.
- Experience scaling new capabilities or standing up new functions is a plus.
- Experience with modern data infrastructure (Snowflake, S3, etc.).
- Strong SQL proficiency.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Background working with large-scale, high-velocity datasets.
- Understanding of data pipelines, modeling, and data preparation for AI/ML use cases.
