About the Role
Smart Design is seeking a technology intern interested in developing cutting-edge technology and solving technical and human-centric problems with multidisciplinary teams. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working on products that meaningfully improve lives and who have experience across the technology spectrum from hardware to software development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with designers or product managers to work through technical feasibility and tradeoffs.
- Pick up new tools and technologies fluidly.
Requirements
- Some educational background in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, robotics engineering, or other relevant programs.
- A solid grasp of programming, digital, and physical fundamentals.
- Understanding of agile processes in software development.
- Experience with programming within a Linux environment in Python and/or C++.
- Experience working with version control software such as Git.
- Include a GitHub link, website, or portfolio of project work when applying.
