About the Role

As an Application Consultant in FI-CA, you will be responsible for the Accounting and incoming invoice processing areas, ensuring stable and smooth operations. You will collaborate with business departments to continuously improve and optimize systems and manage regulatory adjustments, such as semi-annual format changes.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional processing of daily operational tasks, batch control, error analysis, system-technical questions, and incident reports within SAP CRM/IS-U.
• Operation and monitoring of the general ledger interface, including ensuring data consistency, error analysis, and support for closing activities.
• Preparation, support, and execution of monthly accrual runs.
• Execution and optimization of Customizing activities in SAP IS-U, including development and implementation of account determination and posting logic.
• Design and implementation of new and optimized business processes in close collaboration with business departments.
• Analysis and conception of regulatory requirements (e.g., BNetzA, BDEW), system adjustments, testing, and coordination with involved teams.
• Ensuring end-to-end processes in invoice processing and market communication.
• Review and release of archiving processes in compliance with legal requirements (GDPR).

Requirements

• Ability to capture, conceptualize, and specify complex technical, legal, regulatory, and market-specific requirements in the SAP IS-U environment and perform system adjustments (e.g., Customizing).
• Technical and functional expertise in the energy industry and SAP IS-U.
• Experience in exchanging requirements and business processes with business departments during workshops and defining them.
• Ability to write concepts, perform Customizing, and implement solutions.
• Communication and teamwork skills, initiative, and independent working style, as well as analytical thinking.
• Proficient German and good English language skills.
