About the Role
Take the lead in keeping traffic moving! FC Traffic Control, Inc. is seeking a skilled and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee operations, safety, and team performance at one of our key locations. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing personnel, streamlining processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance—all while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and field staff, including scheduling, dispatch, and job assignments.
- Supervise and support Supervisors and Traffic Control Technicians.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations and manage coaching, discipline, and terminations per company policy.
- Hire, train, and mentor field staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to reinforce expectations, safety, and company updates.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency using defined metrics and standards.
- Analyze business procedures and implement policy or workflow improvements.
- Ensure timely input of employee timesheets, job references, and project data.
- Oversee maintenance planning, equipment readiness, and traffic control setups in the field.
- Prioritize tasks and delegate as necessary for smooth operations and timely project delivery.
- Oversee employee schedules and ensure timely approval of hours worked for accurate payroll processing.
- Forecast and manage branch budget and cost of sales to meet financial goals.
- Track operational KPIs and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve service delivery.
- Review and approve payroll, purchasing, and operational expenditures.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate technology, safety, and customer service best practices.
- Enforce traffic control standards, MUTCD guidelines, and local/state regulations.
- Conduct site visits, safety audits, and toolbox talks to promote a safety-first culture.
- Identify training needs and ensure staff certifications are maintained and up to date.
- Act as the branch liaison with clients, contractors, and municipal representatives.
- Respond to service inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Work with business development and sales to grow local operations and secure new business.
Requirements
- 5+ years in traffic control or construction operations, with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Deep understanding of traffic control procedures, plans, and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency shifts as needed. Flexibility is essential to meet the demands of FC247365 operations.
