About the Role
As a Technician II at Penske, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles, working independently to diagnose and resolve issues. You will also mentor new technicians and continue to develop your own skills within a supportive and safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
- Repair and troubleshoot components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, and turbochargers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Utilize Penske's tools and technologies for repair logging, research, and diagnostics.
- Acquire new skills through Penske's technician training programs.
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements
- Experienced vehicle technician.
- Ability to work independently.
