About the Role
St. John's University seeks faculty to teach Risk Management courses at the graduate and undergraduate level within the Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science. This role involves teaching on campus in Queens or Manhattan, as well as online, contributing to a dynamic academic environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate or graduate courses in Risk Management.
- Willingness to teach in person on campus in Queens or Manhattan.
- Willingness to teach online during day hours (9 am - 6 pm) for undergraduate courses.
- Willingness to teach graduate courses in the evenings (generally starting at 6:00 or 6:40 pm).
- Be available to teach undergraduate courses on a two-day schedule (Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday, generally).
- Train on the use of Canvas, the university learning management system.
Requirements
- Master's degree preferred in the area or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience preferred in the area or a related field.
- Strong industry experience is strongly recommended.
