About the Role
As a (Senior) Manager Tax Transformation Consulting, you will advise national and international companies on optimizing process-oriented and technology-supported workflows, thereby contributing to the improvement of organizational structures.
Responsibilities
- Advise multinational corporations on tax issues in the process and automation sector, as well as on ERP transformation projects.
- Analyze tax data using Tax Data Analytics for income and sales tax, and create electronic balance sheets.
- Apply expertise in Tax Accounting, including implementing Tax Accounting Tools and optimizing tax reporting processes.
- Participate in the automation of tax declaration and audit processes, as well as Tax Risk Management.
- Manage cross-functional projects at the interface of accounting and taxes in collaboration with Deloitte Consulting and auditing.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on auditing and/or tax.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in auditing, corporate tax, or tax compliance.
- Ideally, possess a tax advisor certification.
- Knowledge of accounting standards (HGB, IFRS, and ideally US-GAAP).
- Basic understanding of deferred taxes and experience in auditing deferred tax positions.
- Affinity for numbers.
- Good MS Office skills, ideally with practical experience in Excel including VBA.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and DATEV is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
