About the Role
We are seeking an Azure Cloud Architect focused on design and collaboration to shape our cloud landscape. This role involves designing secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in Microsoft Azure, creating documentation, and partnering with DevSecOps for governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of cloud architectures across Azure’s core services, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and compliance
- Translate complex business and security requirements into clear, actionable cloud designs
- Develop and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standards, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers
- Provide architectural oversight on cloud deployments
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and project teams, advocating for cloud best practices and cost optimization strategies
Requirements
- Deep expertise across Microsoft Azure core services: networking, compute, storage, identity, databases, monitoring, and security
- Strong background with Azure application services: Logic Apps, Function Apps, and App Services, with an ability to integrate them into broader solution designs
- Solid understanding of cloud governance frameworks (e.g., policies, RBAC, cost controls)
- Experience with multi-region designs, disaster recovery patterns, and hybrid connectivity
- Excellent written communication skills; able to produce diagrams, decision trees, and design docs that teams can rely on
- A mindset oriented towards collaboration, mentorship, and cross-functional influence
