About the Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our new AI lab in Berlin. In this role, you will build and maintain scalable web applications, including AI Agent interfaces, and actively participate in UI/UX and product decision-making within a small, agile team.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale frontend applications and services using React and TypeScript.
• Develop reliable integrations between our frontend, backend APIs, and AI systems.
• Work with modern state management like Jotai and component libraries like Mantine to build responsive interfaces.
• Help implement and maintain clean, component-based frontend architecture.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers to integrate and productionize AI-powered product features.
• Contribute to pragmatic engineering decisions around performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and user experience.

Requirements

• Strong practical experience building real-world React and TypeScript applications.
• Understanding of component-based frontend architecture and modern React development patterns.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data flows.
• An eye for good design and an intuition for user-friendly UX.
• Experience writing automated tests and an interest in maintainable, testable code.
• Proficiency with Git and modern collaborative development workflows.
• Strong English communication skills and comfort working in a small, startup-like, tech-driven team.
• Talented graduates and early-career engineers are encouraged to apply even if they don’t meet every requirement.
