About the Role
Rogo is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its Legal team and help scale the company’s contracting function as it redefines financial workflows for top investment banks, private equity funds, and investment firms. This is a high-impact opportunity for a business-minded attorney to build the legal infrastructure that enables Rogo’s rapid growth and supports a global client base.
Responsibilities
- Advise stakeholders on legal issues.
- Lead end-to-end negotiations of high-value MSAs and commercial agreements with major financial institutions.
- Own negotiations with data and content providers.
- Structure business-aligned agreements and translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance in partnership with Sales, Product, Security, and Operations.
- Implement and manage Rogo’s commercial contracting infrastructure.
- Operationalize legal tech tools.
- Design negotiation templates and workflows.
- Collaborate with the Head of Legal on strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
- 3–6 years of legal experience.
- Demonstrated experience independently closing commercial agreements.
- Strong knowledge of IP licensing, privacy, data-use rights, and AI.
- Prior experience implementing legal tech tools.
- Ambitious, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about technology, AI, and finance.
